New Performance Dates

The Snow Queen ice ballet was postponed by a year due to tightened COVID-19 restrictions in Finland. Already bought tickets are valid and can be used as they are on the new dates.

Performances at Nokia Arena, Tampere

Sat 1 Jan 2022 at 7 pm –> Fri 30 Dec 2022 at 7 pm (premiere, Finnish narration)

Here’s what to do:

Use your ticket as it is on the new date

If the new suggested show fits your schedule you don’t have to do anything. Just arrive at the Nokia Arena with your ticket on the new date and enjoy the show.

Change your ticket to another show of the Snow Queen

If the new suggested show doesn’t fit your schedule you can change your ticket to another show of the Snow Queen, given there are available seats left in the same price category. The exhange was free of charge until the 30th of September 2022. From the 1st of October 2022 onward Lippu.fi and Tampere Hall will collect a separate payment for the exchange.

You can change your ticket through Lippu.fi sales channels: tel. +358 600 900 900 (€2/per each starting min + standard local network/mobile rate) or by sending an e-mail to tampere-talo@lippu.fi. Write the headline of your message as ”Snow Queen ticket exchange”, and tell us your name, order number, original date and the preferred date in the message.

Changing your ticket to a Tampere Hall gift voucher or applying for a reimbursement of the ticket price

You can no longer change your ticket to a Tampere Hall gift voucher or apply for a reimbursement of the ticket price. The deadline for applications was the 28th of February 2022.

Subtitles in the mobile application

All Snow Queen performances are subtitled in English, Finnish and Swedish. You can follow the subtitles with the subtitle application Subtitle Mobile on your own smartphone. Below are detailed instructions on how to start using the mobile application.

Before the performance:

  1. Download the Subtitle Mobile (Loitsut Oy) application to your own phone from the App Store or Google Play: https://m.subtitles.cloud
  2. Remember that your phone must be fully charged when you arrive at Nokia Arena. The application requires a lot of battery time.

At Nokia Arena:

  1. Make sure the phone is on silent or activate Do not disturb mode.
  2. Follow the application’s instructions and enter the 4-character letter code: LUMI
  3. Select subtitle language (English, Finnish or Swedish).
  4. Subtitles appear automatically when the performance starts.
  5. You can adjust the screen brightness by touching the screen and dragging the adjuster that appears along the top edge of the screen.
  6. You can also change the subtitle language in the upper right corner.
  7. You can exit the subtitle view by pressing the X symbol in the upper left corner.
  8. Close the program after the performance.

Arriving at Nokia Arena

The venue for the show is the easily accessible, brand new Nokia Arena located in the heart of Tampere. You can access the arena on foot, by bike, by car or by public transport. The arena is located 600 metres from both the railway station and the bus station.

Accessibility

Ensuring accessibility has been an important part when designing the Nokia Arena, all floors are accessible by lifts. Service points at the arena are also accessible.

Your safety is our priority. We follow the guidelines and recommendations for events and meetings given by the regional COVID-19 monitoring group and the Regional State Administrative Agency.
